B & B at Whispering Oaks is located on the outskirts of College Station, Texas, an easy drive from Houston, Austin, Waco, San Antonio, and Dallas/Fort Worth. This charming ranch-style bed and breakfast is just five miles/five minutes by car from Texas A&M University's Kyle Field and West Campus, and an even closer drive from Easterwood Airport, the Brazos Valley Expo Center, and the new TAMU Health and Science Center.
Nestled on thirteen quiet acres, the property features three comfortably appointed guest rooms, as well as outdoor areas that afford wonderful, relaxing views of the surrounding lake, woods, and meadows. The house is a center for wildlife observation, especially deer and songbirds. For the city-weary, it provides a relaxing sanctuary where guests are pampered in style.
When not soaking up the beauty of the homesite, guests have convenient access to the college scene, old downtown Bryan, the George W. Bush Presidential Library, and other local attractions. Nature-lovers may easily travel to Lake Bryan or Lake Sommerville, while antique shoppers and history buffs might opt for historic Washington-on-the-Brazos, the Antique Rose Emporium, Navasota, Brenham, or other Texas Hill Country destinations.
