House Policies
- Check-in time is 4-6 PM. Please notify us if you will be arriving earlier or later.
- Check-out time is by 11 AM.
- Enjoy our home as an observation station for deer, songbirds, foxes, and sometimes the cry of the coyote at night. This is the country, so we do ask that you wear protective footwear when outside and keep doors and window securely closed so that critters do not enter!
- Some of the tamer critters are our resident barn cats. These outside cats are entertaining but should not be handled. In answer to the question that guests often ask: no, the cats never come indoors.
- OFF LIMITS are lake, pastures, barn, and fenced areas due to safety concerns and the arrangements of our cattle lease.
Our generous yard, winding drive, and pedestrian-friendly neighborhood provide plenty of space to roam or organize outdoor games. Caution: Some portions of fence are electrified. - Guests may consume alcohol within reason (BYOB). No underage drinking, and the innkeeper reserves the right to ask guests whose behavior disturbs others to leave immediately and forfeit their room deposit.
- Smoking is permitted on the patio and front porch only. To lessen fire hazards, guests should use only the sand buckets provided for disposal.
- Children 12 and over only, please.
- NO pets. NO candles.
- Lost Keys: $10 charge
- We provide Garden Botanika amenities to all of our guests. If you have forgotten any toiletries, please ask us if we have extra items on hand.
- Hairdryer and iron are available upon request.
